LENSALANDAK.COM I , Pontianak- Seorang pria berinisial K (48) ditangkap Satreskrim Polresta Pontianak saat hendak menjual 34,8 kg sisik Trenggiling di kawasan Pontianak Barat pada 8 Oktober 2023 dini hari.
Kasat Reskrim Polresta Pontianak Kompol Tri Prasetyo menyampaikan K diamankan di rumahnya bersama barang bukti 34,8 kg sisik Trenggiling.
Penangkapan ini dikatakan Kompol Tri bermula dari dari informasi masyarakat yang melaporkan akan adanya transaksi jual beli sisik Trenggiling di Kota Pontianak.
“Berdasarkan serangkaian penyelidikan akhirnya petugas berhasil mengamankan tersangka beserta barang bukti,” ujarnya kepada wartawan, Rabu 11 oktober 2023.
Dari pemeriksaan, Tri mengatakan tersangka mendapatkan sisik Trenggiling itu dari seorang warga Kecamatan Kuala Mandor, Kabupaten Kubu Raya dengan harga Rp800 ribu per kg.
“Sisik tersebut dikumpulkan sejak bulan September 2023, dan direncanakan akan dijual kepada seorang warga di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu, namun sebelum dijual tersangka lebih dulu diamankan,” jelasnya.
Atas perbuatannya, tersangka dijerat dengan pasal 40 ayat (2) Jo Pasal 21 ayat (2) Undang-undang Nomor 5 tahun 1990 tentang konservasi sumber daya alam hayati dan ekosistem dengan ancaman penjara hingga 5 tahun dan denda Rp100 juta. (IM)
