LENSALANDAK.COM I NGABANG , Kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di Kabupaten Landak per 20 November telah terjadi 500 kasus dan sudah ada 9 korban jiwa dari kasus demam berdarah, sehingga menjadi perhatian serius bagi pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Landak untuk melakukan upaya penanganan untuk melakukan pencegahan penyebaran agar tidak terjadi kejadian luar biasa (KLB).
Beberapa wilayah kecamatan yang menjadi daerah kasus DBD terbesar yakni Kecamatan Ngabang sebanyak 141 kasus, Kecamatan Menyuke sebanyak 84 kasus, Kecamatan Sengah Temila sebanyak 60 kasus dan Kecamatan Mempawah Hulu sebanyak 51 kasus, sedangkan Kecamatan Menjalin ada 31 kasus, Kecamatan Sebangki 26 kasus, Kecamatan Banyuke Hulu 23 kasus, Kecamatan Meranti 19 kasus, Kecamatan Jelimpo 18 kasus, Kecamatan Air Besar 15 kasus, Kecamatan Mandor 14 kasus dan Kecamatan Kuala Behe 13 kasus serta Kecamatan Sompak yang memiliki kasus DBD terendah yakni 3 kasus DBD.
Menanggapi kasus DBD yang meningkat di Kabupaten Landak, Bupati Landak periode 2017-2022 Karolin Margret Natasa mengajak Pemerintah Kabupaten Landak dan masyarakat untuk bergerak bersama menangani DBD, hal tersebut disampaikan Karolin pada penyuluhan dan pencegahan DBD di Kantor Desa Hilir Tengah, Kecamatan Ngabang, Kabupaten Landak, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, kamis (23/11/23).
“Kami sangat prihatin dengan kasus DBD yang terjadi saat ini sangat tinggi dan sudah menelan korban jiwa. Untuk itu, kami mengajak pemda dan masyarakat untuk bergerak bersama menangani kasus DBD ini dengan melakukan upaya penanganan dan pencegahan penyebaran DBD di Kabupaten Landak,” ucap Karolin.
Karolin menyarankan kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Landak untuk mengkoordinasikan seluruh camat, kepala desa dan kepala puskesmas dalam menyikapi meningkatnya kasus DBD sebagai bentuk upaya penanganan dan pencegahan.
“Pemda Landak sebaiknya segera mengkoordinasikan seluruh camat, kepala desa dan kepala puskesmas agar dapat melakukan pemetaan wilayah yang menjadi daerah-daerah sebaran DBD dari desa hingga ke dusun sehingga dapat memberikan tindakan yang tepat dan cepat kepada masyarakat dalam menangani kasus DBD yang terjadi.” terang Karolin.
Lebih lanjut Karolin berpesan kepada masyarakat untuk selalu menjaga kebersihan lingkungan serta melaksanakan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta menggencarkan sosialisasi 3M plus yaitu menguras tempat penampungan air, menutup rapat tempat penampungan air, mendaur ulang barang-barang bekas yang berpotensi menjadi tempat perkembangbiakan nyamuk demam berdarah.
“Dan yang dimaksudkan Plus-nya adalah bentuk upaya pencegahan tambahan seperti memelihara ikan pemakan jentik nyamuk, menggunakan obat anti nyamuk, memasang kawat kasa pada jendela dan ventilasi, gotong royong membersihkan lingkungan, periksa tempat-tempat penampungan air, meletakkan pakaian bekas pakai dalam wadah tertutup, memberikan larvasida pada penampungan air yang susah dikuras, memperbaiki saluran dan talang air yang tidak lancar, dan menanam tanaman pengusir nyamuk,” pesan Karolin.(IM).
