Pendahuluan
Perintah bagi musuh Tuhan teramat penting untuk dimengerti dan dipahami secara baik. Perintah merupakan perkataan dari pihak atas yang bertujuan untuk menyuruh melakukan sesuatu yang harus dikerjakan tanpa berbantah-bantah atau bersungut-sungut. Dalam iman Kristen perintah yang harus dijalankan ialah perintah Tuhan karena perintah Tuhan merupakan perintah yang datang dari sorga kepada manusia yang tinggal di dalam dunia. Musuh berarti lawan atau seteru secara turun-temurun hingga sekarang dan selama-lamanya (Penyusun 2008:1059). Tuhan yang hidup ialah Pribadi Tuhan yang sempurna sehingga harus dipercayai, diyakini, dipuja, dan disembah oleh manusia karena Tuhan sebagai Pribadi yang Mahakuasa dan Mahaperkasa.
Perintah musuh bagi Tuhan yang hidup ialah melaksanakan semua perintah dan ketetapan yang telah tertulis dalam Kitab Suci Kristen. Perintah yang harus diikuti oleh musuh Tuhan yakni setan atau iblis dan orang-orang yang ingin berniat hati yang jahat terhadap para pengikut Kristus yakni perlu takut akan Tuhan, beribadah atau berbakti kepada-Nya, dan menyembah kepada-Nya. Takut akan Tuhan ialah awal dari pengetahuan. Beribadah atau ibadah berarti hormat kepada Allah (Kel. 20:1-6) yang dinyatakan dalam gerak isyarat dan perkataan tepat, namun juga dituntut dalam sikap perbuatan dan hidup (Am. 5:21-24) (Browning 2015:145).
Para musuh yang tidak melaksanakan perintah dan ketetapan Tuhan, maka musuh tersebut disebut sebagai musuh Tuhan. Musuh Tuhan belum tentu sebagai musuh manusia, tetapi musuh manusia sudah barang tentu sebagai musuh Tuhan. Musuh Tuhan terdiri atas dua hal yakni: (1) para pengikut Kristus Yesus yang dimusuhi oleh orang-orang yang tidak percaya kepada-Nya; (2) musuh Tuhan dan musuh manusia ialah setan atau iblis. Para pengikut Kristus Yesus diajarkan dalam firman Tuhan ialah orang percaya harus mengasihi musuh dan mendoakan mereka. Yesus bersabda: Kasihilah musuhmu dan berdoalah bagi mereka yang menganiaya kamu (Mat. 5:44). Musuh yang Yesus maksudkan ialah bisa pengikut Yesus dan bukan pengikut Yesus, yang selalu berniat jahat terhadap pengikut Kristus sejati. Sedangkan musuh terbesar yang harus diusir dalam nama Yesus ialah setan atau iblis.
Setan atau iblis ialah musuh Tuhan dan musuh manusia yang tidak boleh disembah, dipuji, dipuja, dan ditinggikan namanya. Dalam iman Kristen tidak ada istilah setan baik dan setan jahat. Istilah setan atau iblis tetap jahat karena sejak semula pekerjaannya sebagai penggoda dan pembunuh manusia bukan pemelihara manusia karena itu manusia dilarang oleh firman Tuhan untuk menyembah setan atau iblis. Saat manusia menyembah setan atau iblis, maka setan atau iblis akan semakin senang dan menjadi kawan bagi manusia. Apabila manusia tidak menyembah setan atau iblis yang pernah disembah, maka dia akan mengamuk bahkan membunuh manusia yang ingin dibunuhnya. Yesus berfirman: Iblislah yang menjadi bapamu dan kamu ingin melakukan keinginan-keinginan bapamu. Ia adalah pembunuh manusia sejak semula dan tidak hidup dalam kebenaran, sebab di dalam dia tidak ada kebenaran. Apabila ia berkata dusta, ia berkata atas kehendaknya sendiri, sebab ia adalah pendusta dan bapa segala dusta (Yoh. 8:44).
Pernyataan nas Yohanes 8:44 dapat dipahami bahwa (1) setan atau iblis merupakan bapa bagi para penyembah setan atau iblis, sehingga pekerjaannya sebagai pembunuh apabila tidak menyembah dia dan tidak melakukan kebenaran Tuhan sebab setan atau iblis di dalam dirinya sama sekali tidak ada kebenaran; (2) setan atau iblis di dalam dirinya terdapat roh dusta oleh karena itu setan atau iblis disebut sebagai pendusta dan bapa segala dusta. Perbuatan dusta yang dilakukan oleh setan atau iblis merupakan karakteristik iblis sebab dia sumber segala kebohongan (Kej. 3:1-6; Kis. 5:3; 2Tes. 2:9-11; Why. 12:9). Perbuatan dusta ialah dosa yang berlawanan dengan pikiran Allah (Why. 19:11). Acuh tak acuh terhadap dosa dusta sebagai salah satu tanda yang pasti dari keadaan yang tidak saleh bahwa seseorang belum dilahirkan oleh Roh Kudus (Yoh. 3:6), tetapi berada di bawah pengaruh iblis selaku bapa rohaninya (Penyusun 2010:1720).
Pernyataan iblis selaku bapa rohaninya bagi para penyembah iblis atau setan ialah mengikuti semua peraturan iblis yang dikehendakinya, tetapi semua peraturannya esensinya mengandung dusta. Karena itu, manusia terus-menerus didorong untuk menyembah Kristus Yesus di dalam roh dan kebenaran bukan menyembah roh setan. Menyembah Yesus dalam roh dan kebenaran sebab Yesus adalah kebenaran (Yoh. 1:14; 5:31; 14:6; Luk. 4:25; 9:27; 12:44), hidup di dalam Kristus menuntut bahwa kita berbicara benar (1Kor. 5:8; Ef. 4:25). Menyatakan bahwa kita bersekutu dengan Kristus dan memiliki keselamatan, namun tidak hidup dan berbicara sesuai dengan kebenaran berarti ditipu (1Yoh. 1:6). Mereka yang tidak memiliki kebenaran di dalam dirinya menunjukkan keadaan sesungguhnya dari hati mereka bahwa mereka sebenarnya berlawanan dengan kehendak Allah dan berada diluar Kerjaaan Sorga (Why. 21:8, 27; 22:15; 14:5) (Penyusun 2010:1707). Jadi, iblis sebagai makhluk halus yang selalu berdaya upaya untuk menyesatkan manusia dari jalan Tuhan yang benar berdasarkan firman-Nya.
Kontenitas nas firman Tuhan
Musuh harus takut akan Tuhan
Nas Ulangan 6:13 pada verba ”takut akan Tuhan” indikasinya bukan berbicara tentang musuh yang adalah iblis, sehingga dianjurkan/ diperintahkan untuk takut akan Tuhan, melainkan daerah-daerah yang akan didiami oleh orang Israel pada waktu dulu ialah daerah musuh Israel. Namun, keberadaan umat Israel saat itu dianjurkan supaya menjadi berkat bagi para musuhnya, sehingga para musuhnya menjadi takut akan Tuhan. Takut akan Tuhan ialah permulaan pengetahuan (Ams. 1:7). Praktik takut akan Tuhan harus dimulai dari umat Israel saat berdiam di daerah-daerah musuhnya, sehingga para musuhnya memiliki rasa keseganan terhadapnya, tetapi apabila umat Israel menyembah allah para musuhnya, maka Tuhan pasti menghukum mereka.
Takut akan Allah atau Tuhan merupakan perintah Tuhan yang acapkali diberikan kepada umat-Nya pada masa Perjanjian Lama. Perintah takut akan Tuhan memiliki aspek-aspek yang berkaitan erat seorang percaya kepada Allah yakni: Pertama, kesadaran akan kekudusan, keadilan, dan kebenaran Tuhan sebagai pasangan terhadap kasih dan pengampunan-Nya. Kedua, memandang Tuhan dengan penuh kekaguman dan menghormati Allah. Ketiga, orang percaya harus menaruh iman dan kepercayaannya kepada Tuhan untuk memperoleh keselamatan yang abadi di dalam Tuhan. Keempat, kesadaran bahwa Dialah Allah yang bisa marah terhadap manusia yang berbuat dosa dan akan memberikan hukuman kekal kepada mereka yang melanggar hukun-hukum-Nya yang adil, baik dengan segera maupun dalam kekekalan (Mzm. 76:8-9) (Penyusun 2010:286).
Musuh harus menyembah Tuhan
Nas Matius 4:10 berbicara tentang perintah dan ajakan Yesus Kristus kepada iblis untuk menyembah Allah (bdk. Ul. 6:13) sebab Allah sebagai Penciptanya. Menyembah berarti menghormati, memuja Tuhan, dan mengaku di bawah perintah. Perintah Yesus kepada iblis untuk menyembah Allah walaupun pernyataan Yesus sebelumnya kepada iblis ialah Enyahlah, Iblis! Pernyataan “Enyahlah, Iblis!” merupakan pernyataan tegas yang disampaikan-Nya yang berarti “singkirlah, Iblis” atau “pergilah, iblis” dari hadapan Yesus. Istilah ‘enyahlah’merupakan penolakan tegas yang diambil oleh Yesus atas usulan Iblis untuk Yesus menyembah dia. Kata ‘iblis’ muncul pertama kali di dalam Injil Matius 4:10 bahkan Matius menyebutkan 4 kali di dalam Injil Matius. Kata ‘iblis’ berarti musuh dan dipakai bagi keberadaan secara gigih melawan Allah dan melawan kebaikan dari para pengikut-Nya (Leon Morris 2016:82).
Saat Yesus mengusir setan atau iblis lalu setan mundur dengan cara memalukan dan terhina, sehingga pergi menanggung aib. Semakin berani upayanya, semakin memalukan kegagalan yang ditimpakan kepadanya. Iblis berputus asa dalam upayanya untuk menggoyahkan Dia dan menyimpulkan bahwa Kristus Yesus memang sungguh Anak Allah, sehingga percuma untuk mencobai-Nya lebih lanjut (Henry 2007:123). Apabila iblis tidak berkenan untuk pergi dari hadapan Yesus, maka tindakan yang harus diambil oleh iblis ialah harus menyembah Allah. Iblis atau setan sebagai musuh Tuhan dan musuh manusia diperintahkan Kristus Yesus untuk menyembah Allah, tetapi belum tentu ingin menyembah Allah sebab iblis selalu berjalan keliling seperti singa yang mengaum-aum mencari mangsa yang lemah untuk dimangsanya. Dia ingin memangsa orang-orang yang percaya kepada-Nya dengan sangat lahap (Bilo 2026:100).
Pernyataan untuk menyembah Allah merupakan perkara yang sangat urgen karena ada hubungan yang erat dengan perilaku manusia yang seolah-olah seperti iblis yang selalu mencobai Tuhan dan para pengikut-Nya, maka jalan terbaik yang harus diambil oleh manusia yang dikuasai oleh roh-roh setan ialah harus menyembah Allah di dalam Yesus Kristus. Apabila manusia yang dikuasai setan saat menyembah Allah di dalam Yesus Kristus, maka jiwanya akan tenang dan hidupnya akan selalu bahagia. Namun, apabila manusia menolak untuk menyembah Allah dalam Yesus Kristus, maka hidupnya akan semakin kacau balau dan tidak akan pernah tenang dalam hidupnya. Sebab orang yang mendua hati tidak akan tenang dalam hidupnya.
Musuh harus beribadah/ berbakti kepada Tuhan
Teks Ulangan 6:13, Matius 4:10, dan Lukas 4:8 pada frasa beribadah/ berbakti kepada Tuhan merupakan perintah dan ajakan Tuhan kepada umat Tuhan dan para musuh-Nya. Ibadah berarti perbuatan untuk menyatakan bakti kepada Allah yang didasari ketaatan mengerjakan perintah-Nya dan menjauhi larangan-Nya. Beribadah merupakan menunaikan semua kewajiban yang diperintahkan Allah dan mengerjakan semua hal positif dengan niat baik karena berdasarkan perintah dari Tuhan. Perintah dari Tuhan untuk beribadah sudah seharusnya dijalankan oleh umat Tuhan. Umat Tuhan yang ingin menjalani hidup beribadah di dalam Kristus Yesus akan menderita aniaya (Bilo 2026:100). Penderitaan aniaya yang dialami oleh para pengikut Kristus disebabkan oleh karena pekerjaan setan dan para musuh Tuhan serta pengikut-Nya.
Dengan demikian, umat Tuhan dan para musuh Tuhan dianjurkan untuk beribadah kepada Tuhan, maka tindakan real yang harus diambil ialah bakti atau berbakti kepada-Nya. Bakti merupakan tunduk dan hormat dari umat-Nya dan para musuh-Nya kepada Allah di dalam Yesus Kristus. Bahkan setia dan memperhambakan dirinya kepada sang Penebus dosa manusia. Sedangkan berbakti berarti berbuat bakti kepada Yesus Kristus dengan jalan melakukan perintah-Nya dan menjauhi larangan-Nya. Jadi, umat-Nya dan para musuh-Nya harus berbakti kepada Allah Tritunggal yakni Bapa, Anak, dan Roh Kudus; serta sekaligus beribadah dan menyembah kepada-Nya.
Musuh harus bersumpah kepada Tuhan
Eksistensi umat Israel berdiam di wilayah para musuh harus mengambil sumpah untuk tidak menyembah allah para musuhnya, melainkan harus menyembah Allah Israel. Sumpah berarti: Pertama, pernyataan yang diucapkan secara resmi dengan bersaksi kepada Tuhan untuk menguatkan kebenaran dan kesungguhannya. Kedua, pernyataan disertai tekad melakukan sesuatu untuk menguatkan kebenarannya atau berani menderita karena kebenaran. Ketiga, janji atau ikrar yang teguh akan menunaikan sesuatu. Sedangkan bersumpah berarti menyatakan kebenaran suatu hal atau kesetiaan dengan sumpah, mengangkat sumpah, berjanji dengan sungguh-sungguh, dan berikrar atau sudah disumpah.
Isi pernyataan sumpah dan bersumpah di atas dipahami bahwa perintah Tuhan bagi umat Israel untuk bersumpah yakni umat Israel harus takut akan Tuhan dan harus beribadah demi nama Tuhan. Perbuatan takut akan Tuhan dan beribadah demi nama Tuhan merupakan perbuatan kebenaran yang tidak boleh diabaikan oleh umat Israel karena Tuhan sangat tidak menghendaki umat-Nya untuk menyembah allah lain termasuk di tanah para musuh. Demikian pula, orang percaya di masa modern dapat diperintahkan Tuhan untuk takut akan Tuhan dan harus beribadah kepada Tuhan sebab Tuhan benci terhadap para penyembah allah-allah lain. Jadi, pentinglah perintah untuk takut akan Tuhan dan beribadah kepada Tuhan bagi gereja Tuhan yang percaya kepada-Nya sebab orang-orang yang takut akan Tuhan dan beribadah demi nama Tuhan akan dimerdekakan dari semua perbudakan dosa yang dirancangkan musuh Tuhan untuk kebinasaan.
Konklusi
Pemaparan sederhana dari Matius 4:10, Lukas 4:8, dan Ulangan 6:13 diberikan kesimpulan bahwa sebagian orang yang ingin berniat jahat terhadap para pengikut Kristus sejati sebagai musuh Tuhan yang harus dikasihi dan didoakannya. Karena itu, para musuh Tuhan harus bertobat dari tindakan kejahatannya dan menyembah Kristus Yesus di dalam roh dan kebenaran sebab Kristus adalah kebenaran. Musuh Tuhan dan musuh manusia yang terbesar ialah setan atau iblis harus dienyahkan bahkan kelak akan dibinasakan. Karena iblis atau setan dan kroni-kroninya sudah pasti akan mengalami kematian yang kekal walaupun ‘mereka,’ diperintahkan untuk menyembah Kristus Yesus. Perintah bagi iblis atau setan untuk menyembah Allah di dalam Yesus Kristus sebab ‘mereka’ harus menyembah Yesus karena firman Tuhan yang memerintahkannya (Marthen Mau).
