LENSALANDAK.COM I Pontianak,Petinju asal Kalbar, Daud Jordan baru saja mengalahkan lawannya Hernan Leandro Carrizo dalam duel tinju bertema ‘Laga di Khatulistiwa’. The Boxing Senator ini, menang KO di ronde sembilan. Pertandingan ini memperebutkan sabuk sabuk juara dunia tinju International Boxing Association (IBA) World Super Lightweight Championship.
Laga yang digelar di GOR Terpadu Ayani Pontianak ini, berlangsung pada Sabtu (7/9) pukul 22.00 WIB.
Daud mendapat support dari banyak tokoh, dari tokoh lokal hingga tokoh nasional. Diantara tokoh-tokoh tersebut, terlihat H. Ria Norsan dan Krisantus Kurniawan yang datang berbarengan. Sesaat sebelum pertandingan dimulai, seluruh tokoh besar Kalbar berkumpul di ruang ganti pakaian Daud Jordan. Mereka membacakan doa dan memberi semangat kepada Daud. Kemudian mereka berbaris mengantar Daud Jordan ke atas ring. Momen unik ini terjadi secara spontan, para tokoh ‘berpawai’ mengangkat sabuk juara milik Daud.
Dalam iringan tersebut, Panglima Jilah dan Daud Jordan berjalan paling depan. Diikuti oleh H. Ria Norsan dan Krisantus Kurniawan, kemudian Tjhai Cui Mie disusul Karolin Margret Natasa. Di belakang Karolin, beriringan Satono, Sebastianus Darwis dan ditutup oleh Fransiskus Diaan.
Dalam pidato kemenangannya, Daud Jordan menaruh hormat penuhnya untuk Oesman Sapta Oedang (OSO). Gedung menjadi riuh seketika saat nama OSO disebut paling awal. Nama OSO pun dielukan dengan lantang. “OSO!, OSO!, OSO!”
Ria Norsan mengatakan, kemenangan Daud Jordan adalah kemenangan untuk semua.
“Tak hanya untuk Kalbar, tapi juga Indonesia. Kami apresiasi dan ucapkan selamat untuk Daud Jordan!,” kata Norsan didampingi Krisantus.
